This morning has been my first successful oil pulling experience during the morning hours. Up until now, I had only been doing it right before bed, and I have not tried the coconut oil again since the first time. Yesterday, though, I went to a bio store and bought sunflower oil. It tastes like I just got done eating sunflower seeds, which makes it much easier to have in the mouth. This morning is also the first time that I have been able to take a whole tablespoon for the pulling. This makes it op session number 5 I believe.
A friend asked if I saw any results yet. I don't think I have. The one thing I have noticed is that I am less sluggish in the morning and have either been waking up easily to my alarm or just before it. Now, I cannot pin that on the op, though that may be a contributor. First there are the crazy third trimester hormones accompanied by the large baby who seems to be constantly moving, both of which could just happen to wake me up at any time in the morning. My other thought is that I have joined the Maximize Your Mornings challenge, so I have been focused on getting up at an earlier time anyway. Either way, I am going to continue oil pulling for a while and see what happens. If all else fails, it's making me brush my teeth more often, which was my plan in the first place. ;)
